the "already there" notion has much more to do with spontaneity than intention. coming up with creative ideas is, in a way, the easy part. the harder part is not letting yourself get stuck in a single train of photographic thought when a shot like this comes your way. this reminder that despite how fantastically otherworldly the characters are, it's still just a county fair, is comedy gold.
